For approx. 4,000 liters of water and the removal of almost all bacteria (99.9999 percent) and protozoan parasites (99.9 percent) including Giardia, which contaminate the water. The filter also reduces turbidity and removes all particles larger than 0.2 microns. The filter is chemical-free and requires no electricity, batteries or replacement parts.
