Magware was developed to address a major problem facing our planet. We throw away billions of single-use plastic cutlery items every year, and many of them end up in our oceans and waterways. Plastics never fully degrade but break down into small pieces that resemble food scraps from fish and other marine animals. The Ocean Conservancy lists plastic cutlery as the "deadliest" items for sea turtles, seabirds, and other marine life due to their size and the ease with which they enter our waterways.
We believe the "Bring Your Own" (BYO) movement could help reduce the amount of disposable cutlery thrown away each year. Just as carrying drinks bottles has become ubiquitous in people's everyday lives, we hope reusable cutlery will be used in the same way. Magware cutlery is a simple, lightweight solution to help with this mission by being as organized and easy to carry as possible. We truly hope that by promoting this movement, we can have a positive impact by helping combat this crisis, which is growing exponentially every year.

CARE
We recommend handwashing your Magware flatware to keep it in pristine condition. Magware has been dishwasher tested and is typically unaffected by regular-strength powders and detergents, but we have found that some stronger dishwashing detergents and powders can affect Magware's hard-anodized colors. For safety reasons, we recommend handwashing ONLY. When handwashing, use mild detergents to clean your Magware. Do NOT use detergents labeled platinum, titanium, powerwash, or other strong grease-cutting cleaners.
